Turkish Chocolate Baklava

Chocolate Baklava is a special Middle Eastern baklava that is made of a special filo pastry dough that is composed of kneaded flour with a high concentrate of cacao. Layers and layers of sweet, crisp and buttery filo pastry dough and cacao are combined with the remaining ingredients, then baked in the oven. Finally, it is topped with a sweet syrup and placed back into the oven where it finishes baking all its sweet, chocolaty, crispy goodness. 

Ingredients: granulated sugar, potable water, wheat flour, plain butter, praline, wheat starch, egg, cocoa and common salt

Storage: We recommend storing your baklava in the refrigerator for maximum freshness and longevity. Baklava stored in the fridge can last up to 2+ months or longer in an airtight container.

How to enjoy: For the best experience, warm up your baklava in a conventional or toaster oven for 5-7 minutes at a temperature no greater than 300°F.
